Who am I?

Until I started my own family, I hadn’t given much thought to the enormous amount of waste our society produces. Raising my four children has planted within me a deep concern for the environment and a practical desire to extend the life of my family’s clothing and household goods through refashioning and repair. I’ve found my passion as a sustainable creator and continuously strive to increase our community’s awareness and evolution toward a more circular economy. After gaining confidence and knowledge in my sustainable creations, I now offer community workshops, teach weekly school courses, and collaborate on sustainable projects with both individuals and businesses.

A passion for upcycling

Connections to each other, connections to the earth

Eco-friendly. Sustainably-made. Zero waste. All of these terms come from the same problem: too much trash! Nothing disappears. it all goes somewhere.

My hobby of sewing and creating has turned into a solution I want to share. There is nothing more satisfying than hearing from a client, a follower, or my own child that I inspired them in some way to reduce or reuse. Collaborating with a client to reuse materials has ripple effects beyond the individual products created. It connects us as humans to the things we use and the impacts they have on our planet and our communities.
